Government Conference, attended by representatives of 70 countries, was
held on 29 May in Sanandaj in the western province of Kordestan.
Introducing investment opportunities in Iran's tourism industry has been
announced as one of the main goals of this conference and gathering.
The ambassador of Tajikistan said that the similar culture and language
make the two countries so close and asked for further cooperation in tourism
fields.
Greek ambassador also said that the ancient civilization of Greece and
Iran makes a good ground to develop tourism cooperation.
The ambassador of Bangladesh while was happy to visit Iran, asked for
more information and promotional packages of its tourism in other languages.
French ambassador found the colorful Kurdish cloths, weather of the region and
its music attractive and said that Iran has a great potentiality to enhance its
tourism industry and attract invertors from France.
