The 6th meeting kicked off on
Tuesday at Damascus Meridian Hotel and wrapped up work late Wednesday. The
Islamic republic of Iran will host the 7th meeting of the Organization of
Islamic Conference (OIC) Tourism Ministers next year.
Tehran, 4 July 2008: The
Islamic republic of Iran will host the 7th meeting of the Organization of
Islamic Conference (OIC) Tourism Ministers next year.
The 6th meeting kicked off on Tuesday at Damascus Meridian Hotel and wrapped up
work late Wednesday.
Some representatives from 57 Islamic countries took part in the event.
Deputy Head of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization
(ICHHTO) in Tourism Affairs Mohammad Malekzadeh, heading a delegation,
participated in the meeting.
The Conference discussed several issues such as the report of senior officials
meet during the preliminary meeting, adopting an action plan for tourism
development and cooperation and examining report of the 5th session.
